Week 8
Sunday 4/23/00 : Shelby woke up around 7:30 and had already taken her medicine by the time I rolled out of bed at 8:00. She played "go fish" this morning with Nani. She and Sheridan also spent quite a bit of time this morning playing in the bedroom with the electric organ and coloring. They were very good this weekend. They plan to come back and stay again in a few weeks. They are looking forward to that already. We got home around 3:00 p.m. and colored some more Easter eggs (after finding the baskets that the Easter Bunny had left, of course). I, for one, am looking forward to more deviled eggs. They are an irresistable evil for me and also for Hutch. Shelby went to a friend's house this afternoon. It was very nice of them (new neighbors) to invite her over and Shelby had a lot of fun making some bead art and also driving the "Jeep". Her legs are a little too long, and except for one near-accident with a bush, she did pretty well. She came home for supper (homemade pizza) and then helped her brother with his egg coloring. We did a little more reading this evening, and before bed Shelby reminded me to pick her up for PT at 3:30 from the babysitter's house.
